Certified Sherry Educator Lucas Payá brings the Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course to Thirst Boston for the first time. Formerly head sommelier at world-renowned chef Ferran Adrià’s lauded elBulli restaurant in Spain and wine & beverage director at José Andrés´ ThinkFoodGroup, Payá will lead participants through a two and a half hour sherry class complete with tasting and an exam. Attendees will leave with a deep knowledge of this versatile and complex spirit as well as a Certificate of Achievement and will be recognized as Certified Sherry Wine Specialists (CSWS) at the Intermediate Level.
