I Dare You To Ruin My Negroni
Sunday, May 22nd, 2:00 – 3:30pm
BCAE – Granite Room
In Italian “Sbagliato” means “mistake,” and like most great drinks, this one has a nearly unbelievable creation story. According to legend, a bartender grabbed the wrong bottle and made a cocktail with Campari, sweet vermouth and prosecco as opposed to the usual gin that would go in a Negroni. This delicious “mistake” opened the door to countless Negroni variations, each more bizarre than the next and yet all delicious. Join Italian Spirit Specialists Michael Capoferri and Enzo Cangemi on a journey through beverage history as they provide you with the know-how (and the tools!) to rush home and create the next big Negroni “mistake.”
This is a tasting class, expect to taste a few sample-size negronis.
