Mule Lab: Making Ginger Beer
Ginger Beer is a perfect canvas for local and regional variation. Using forced carbonation and a variety of spices allows for experimentation by bars, restaurants, home consumers – and you! Ira Koplowitz and Brendan Benham of Bittercube and Anna McLoughlin of Bacardi will discuss the history of Ginger Beer, once made from fermented ginger soda. The participants will, as a group, select their favorite version, and each participant will be shipped a bottle of customized syrup that will produce 42 cocktails.
