In the constantly shifting landscape of the beverage industry, you’ll need to chart the future of your career with intention. If you are thinking about how to build a long-term, sustainable role for yourself in the field, you may be considering paths that take you from behind the bar to across the region or even country. Come to this workshop to learn from an industry veteran about what tools and skills are necessary to transition from bartending into a brand ambassador role. Lynn House spent twenty-five years working as a bartender in environments from college and hotel bars to fine dining and ultimately craft cocktail lounges before making the leap to National Brand Educator for Heaven Hill Brands. She will share what it takes to succeed in her role, how to make a move from bar to brand, and what the day-to-day work life of a brand ambassador is actually like. Lynn will be joined by Stephanie Wheeler, who is currently a Spirits Purveyor for Phillips Distilling Co with past brand work including two years as a Brand Ambassador with ABSOLUT. She is coming from over a decade of experience within the hospitality industry including Three Dots and a Dash, local industry hit Hojoko and several years of consulting with Element Collective and Capacity Bar Group.
