You might say spirits are, well, in his blood. Philip Pepperdine, NYC-based by way of London and Kansas City, started learning about wine from his grandfather and great-grandfather as a boy. His decade and a half in the hospitality industry brought him to stints at Milk & Honey, where he learned the classics under Sasha Petrosky, and The Randolph at Broome. Philip now proudly works for Beam Suntory’s Morrison Bowmore Distillers as Single Malt Specialist for the East Coast. He’ll lead you through everything there is to know about whiskey as it’s meant to be, namely at cask strength. You’ll taste rare pours of Knob Creek, Jim Beam, and Maker’s Mark that showcase the best of the spirit.
